Paola Orsini
An organic farm in the Monti Lepini above the Pontine plain, growing Itrana on ten thousand trees and milling in its own mill immediately after picking. The family has grown olives here for more than a century.

The estate
The groves face the Tyrrhenian from the Lepini slopes, and the oils are monovarietal Itrana, bottled both as DOP Colline Pontine and as a numbered organic Riserva. The DOP oil also carries a Slow Food presidium designation.
The mill runs two decanters and deliberately no centrifugal separator, which the producer says preserves the oil’s character. Alongside oil the farm makes table olives, olive creams, artichokes in oil, honey, citrus and wine.
