Guglielmi’s olio nuovo: the very first pressing of the new season, unfiltered, bottled once in October and gone within months. Cloudy and creamy in texture, with freshly cut grass and green fruit, artichoke and almond, and a lively peppery finish. The producer states 783 mg/kg polyphenols — the highest figure in our partner’s range — which is what very young Coratina pressed within hours of the earliest pick gives. An unfiltered oil is at its best in its first months; buy it when it lands.
