Chrisopigi

The eastern end of the island: the Lasithiotakis family — third generation, four siblings named on the site — mill Koroneiki at Chrisopigi, a village at 400 metres in the municipality of Sitia, under PDO Sitia Lasithiou Kritis, and sell it through delis in Athens and Thessaloniki. The high point of its record is 2017, when NYIOOC gave it Gold and Best in Class for Koroneiki; recent results are quieter, a Bronze at Athena 2025. A laboratory analysis dated November 2025 on the site shows the oil is current.
