Terra Creta
The biggest Cretan name in this library: Melissa Kikizas, a third-generation family food company, runs Terra Creta from Kolymvari west of Chania and mills contracted Koroneiki in its own facility within twelve hours of harvest. The lines carry PDO Kolymvari Chanion Kritis and PGI Chania; the company also runs an olive academy for its growers and publishes their soil and residue practices. Grand Cru, its single-variety selection, took the 2021 Mario Solinas first prize and a 2026 NYIOOC Gold.

The estate
Terra Creta works with a network of growers rather than one estate; hectares and tree counts are not published. Harvest on Crete begins late September to early October and is over by February, the company states, with the optimum between October and December. All lines are Koroneiki.
Competition record as the producer lists it, with the 2026 NYIOOC Gold confirmed on the competition’s news site and the 2026 Terraolivo Grand Prestige Gold on Terraolivo’s awards site. The 2023 London IOOC Platinum and Berlin Gold badges on the producer’s site were not independently checked.
