The Reserva Familiar Picual with the safety catch off. More bitterness, more pepper, more tomato — and the organic certification for those who want it. If you are buying olive oil for health as much as flavour, this is the Oro Bailén to choose; 535 mg/kg is a serious number. Pair it with food that can push back.
Oro Bailén Picual Bio
The organic edition of the Picual, from certified-organic groves on the same estate: EVOOLEUM Grand Prestige 2026 and a top finish in the World's Best Olive Oils 2025 ranking. Bolder than the standard Picual: more tomato and fig, a firmer, well-structured bitterness and a long, spicy finish. The highest polyphenol count in the Oro Bailén range, which is exactly what those attributes are telling you.
Tasting notes
Tomato, apple and banana on the nose, with green almond, fig and freshly cut grass behind. On the palate a well-structured bitterness and a persistent, pleasantly bold pungency. Robust rather than medium: this is Picual with the volume up.

Where it's from
Organic Picual from the same Villanueva de la Reina estate as the Reserva Familiar. Organic groves in Jaén are still rare; the early-harvest, high-polyphenol style is the same.
